Last month and last tasks for Tankla. So this is the last time that my name is gonna be here as an author. The next blogs will be written by Gabriel (Ritsu) and Melina (Hargla). It means that they are already there and I have already seen that kids are gonna be in the right hands.
About me and my project, well, it is ended and it has been a bunch of adventures thanks to the people who have helped me in all the difficulties this year, but also in all the good things that had made this year amazingly special.
Thanks to have crossed my path and been so kind to have opened your arms to me. Not anymore a stranger.
The end is coming. How many good bye parties have I been invited to already? I can’t really say, but too many. Everybody is leaving. At that point even Nina has left me alone here. And also my good bye party will arrive soon.
I’ve been in a working camp, in summer camps and in Viljandi Folk festival, and although I wanted to do some trip I was so exhausted after all that, that I was just sleeping and resting when I was not working. The good thing is that I was doing it in the beach and now I have a nice tanned, so I will be accepted back in Spain.
… I want to thank you for an amazing year full of new experiences! I was glad to make my EVS in this wonderful country. Thanks to you I have met amazing people, that became friends and I don´t want to miss them in my life. (hihi <3)
Because of you I travelled a lot and saw many new places, I did not even knew that they were here. :D
Dear Estonia - because of you I had the most amazing year! During my 11 months I have got to know so many people - because of my new work, because of travelling…
July was a great “finish” for that a fantastic year.
This month was my birthday’s month, so everything was like “you will not be young anymore”, “you are getting old”, bla bla bla. But also the same ones who were saying that to me made my birthday celebration remarkable, funny and special. They got me chocolate, cake and laughs. And I could not be happier and thankful about the people I’ve met in Estonia.
Althought other events made my June full of new memories, like the Tõrva Kohvikute Päev, being a volunteer in Tartu for the Gaudeamus and being surrounded by singing Lithuianians, hard farewells, jumping from the Vanamõisa wooden Tower, get ugly bruises because of that, playing my first beach-volley tournament in Riiska...
End of June and I have just one month left in Estonia. :O
But before getting depressed about that I will talk about my June, as some really cool things happened in June, beginning from the Child Protection Day, the Art-week and finally the “Jaanipäev” (Mid-Summer Day), which I spent in Tartu (as I helped there as a volunteer at the “Gaudeamus”-festival).
To start from the beginning - June began as May ended - making a trip with all the youngsters - this time we went to Tartu.
Together with them I was in the cinema (first time in a long long time since I sat in a real cinema :D) and later in “game hall” with lot of trampolines and different kind of games.
This month I have been doing a lot of new things, but not in Ritsu. On the contrary, I’ve been in other youth centres like Valga and I was also ‘working’ for a couple of days with INNOVA (I am quoting it because for me it wasn’t such a thing for me); We had a chilling weekend in Viljandi with my favourite ginger making food for us and making us fall in love with him even more (if that is possible), dancing the same songs once and again and sunbathing; and I was In Russia!
A lot … but really a lot of things happened in May … so much, I don’t even know where to start. Probably on what I mostly focused and also was really excited about was the trip to Russia. Starting with applying for the visa in Tallinn, then waiting and waiting – after a bit less than a month getting the visa. During that waiting time we booked busses, checked what we can and want see in St. Petersburg and Moscow and then after all this the real adventure began.
But let’s start with the beginning, as not with Russia, but with another travel my May began.
I travelled to Vilnius! So finally I can say, that I have been to all three Baltic states :D
