30. juuli-1. august toimub noorkotkaste ja kodutütarde võistlusmatk "Kuperjanovlaste rada".
Võistlusmatka kogupikkus on 50 km. Võistkonnal tuleb liikuda maastikul ning täita talle antud ülesandeid. Võistkond peab kogu matka jooksul hakkama saama stardist kaasa võetud vahenditega ja ilma igasuguse kõrvalise abita väljaspool kontrollpunkti.
Võistlusest saavad osa võtta 13-18aastastest noortest koosnevad 4-liikmelised võistkonnad, sh segavõistkonnad.
Võistkondi saab registreerida 19. juulini e-postil kaimo.vahtra@kaitseliit.ee. Lapsevanema nõusolekuleht tuleb esitada hiljemalt 28. juuliks.
MAYbe this was the best month so far. The summer finally arrived in Estonia and not only for one week, but for the whole May. There where countless hours of sun and so many different activities, that I hope I don’t forget to name them all.
On the first days the Valgamaa volunteers gathered again and we visited one of the southernmost points of Estonia, Paganamaa. For this I again borrowed the car, because the bus connections to rural areas in Estonia are very unsatisfying. On this astonishing day in the nature we also made the decision to spend a night in the nature in the upcoming weeks, but more on this later. In Pagnanamaa we walk a small hiking trail that also includes a wooden observation tower (the Estonians just love them). Also did this trail lead us right next to the borer towards Latvia and even though it is not allowed to cross the border without some restrictions, we set our feet into the neighbor country because border patrols were obviously missing in the forest.
Võtsime rahvusvahelise meediaprojekti „FinEst Media“ meeskonna kokku ja seiklesime 5.-6. juunil mööda Valgamaad, et filmida üles suviseid tegevusvõimalusi.
Esimesel päeval alustasime hommikut Otepääl linnasiseseid vaatamisväärsusi filmides ja sealt edasi ületasime kõrgusekartust Otepää seikluspargis. Kaks esimest rada olid käkitegu, kolmas oli juba suur katsumus ning neljanda raja alguses sai julgus otsa ja enamik lõpetas sellega oma seikluse. Peale suurt pingutust oli aeg teha väike kehakinnitus Pühajärve pargis.

While everything is quiet in the kindergarten, the children enjoy life, sometimes cry(which is quite natural) and eat a lot)) My work at Gaia is heating up. This month was devoted to the study of other countries, and thanks to our joint work with other volunteers, the children got acquainted with my native Ukraine and its culture(especially dancing made an impression on the children), Germany and its fairy tales, Portugal and its color(here again there was a delight from dancing with sticks). Kaisa, Mirko, Mikk, Lukas and Partel learned to cook national dishes and you can see from the photos that the process brought them great pleasure, and of course it is also nice to eat cooked food.
Muuda suvi meeldejäävaks ja ägedaks! Osale 28.-30. juunini Otepää vallas Sokka puhkekeskuses toimuvas Valgamaa noorte suvekoolis.
2021. aasta Valgamaa noorte suvekool kannab teemat "FinEst Media suvekool 202,1". Tänavune suvekool on seotud rahvusvahelise meediaprojektiga "FinEst Media", mida viiakse ellu koostöös soomlastega. Ka suvekoolis osalevad soomlased, kuid nendega kohtume peamiselt live-ülekannetes.
Valgamaa noorte suvekool toimub 12. korda ning on suunatud 13-20aastastele Valgamaa noortele. Kahe päeva jooksul läbitakse erinevaid töötube, adrenaliin köetakse üles võistlusmängudes ja turniirides ning meelt lahutatakse õhtustes omaloominguprogrammides. Avatud on ka Tankla pood, kus saab juua, jäätist ning tuntud retroburksi.
